Secondo le rilevazioni dell’ultimo Barth Hops Report i primi 5 gruppi produttori (AB Inbev, Heineken, Carlsberg, Snow e Molsom & Coors) assorbono il 54,5% del totale produzione mondiale, i primi 10 (oltre ai primi 5 già indicati, vi sono anche Tsingtao, Asahi, BGI/Groupe Castel, Efes e Yanijng) assorbono il 68% del totale, mentre le prime 40 aziende censite da Barth Hops Report, assorbono quasi il 90% della produzione mondiale industriale.
